East Anglian Graphic Designers

To put it bluntly, there are more designers out there than Chris Spooner and David Airey. I was getting pretty bored of the same designers being mentioned in blogs, over and over. Sure, they are great designers and I will always visit their websites, but there are more talented people out there who deserve a mention, and it’s pretty lazy to keep mentioning the same names in lists of great designers.

It can also be difficult to see what’s really out there when you’re influenced by the same designers.

So I’ve done a little research (when I say research, I mean I googled “graphic designers”) and formed a small list of people from my neck of the woods. Some of their websites aren’t quite up to scratch, some of them are bloody brilliant, but that doesn’t matter. This is about the quality of their work, so click through to the portfolios of these sites and take a look at what the east of England has to offer.

These designs are really nice, very nice to look at. But some designers can try too hard to be creative and different, so much that they end up creating designs that all look similar. Being over-creative with a website design can take the focus away from the content, you just want to look at the pretty design. Unless your aim is to show off your creativity, sometimes it’s best to keep it simple, that can sometimes be the best way to be different.
